I was a little surprised at how the fine tip looked so fine but it was so thick when i drew with it... I replaced my chisel with the brush nib it was only 's posed to be used with copic sketch and ciao but i used it for original MWAHAHA... >:D

I only bought the colorless blender to use with my prismacolor pencils. The prismacolor colorless blender was a rip off compared to this, as these are refillable and do not possess as strong as an odor. They work well with my colorpencils, and do not dry out easily. Plus, it's good for the environment because they are refillable. Used with prismacolor premier pencils on Arches watercolor paper (300 ib, cold press)

These are the best markers on the market, my opinion but I haven't used anything else but my Copics since I got them. I use them on my rubber stamped greeting cards. They leave a smooth, almost printed like coloring without streaks & lines. The selections of colors & hues are fabulous. Now if they could just be a little cheaper I could afford more :>)

The ink quality varies from marker to marker. Some work great, some dry with a mottled appearance. (small white or light spots) I've tried 10 different papers and find Copics to be incompatible with half of them due to this mottled appearance (E44 is particularly mottled and spotty looking). This can be seen on Copics website under tips and techniques, scroll down to the cube and look at the white spots in the darker side (E43).

The body of this marker is well made and feels good and the colors are very nice but Way overpriced for hit and miss ink quality.

I use a lot of markers in my work and Copics are, by far, the best of the bunch. Prismacolors are close, and somewhat cheaper, but they don't perform quite as well as the Copics do. Copics are quickly becoming the standard for illustrators and comic book artists, especially those who work conventions. If you're a professional illustrator, then the a good set of Copics is a worthy investment. If you're just a hobbyist, stick to the cheaper brands like Prismacolors and Tria markers.

Make sure you don't leave in a warm room. They are alcahol based and will dry quickly if you are not careful. I would also recommend getting the brush tip markers from copic. These are not brush tip. Great quality, though. I was a bit disappointed to see most of the colors were gray.

Personally, I like copic sketch markers more than the original ones. In off-line store, it was on sale, so I got the original markers.
Pros : - great colors
- smooth

Cons : - really expensive(but worth it:-)

I hope there is a gray color set of markers, too.

I am collecting all of these amazing markers.
