These are helpful brushes for making foliage or any similar texture. They seem quite sturdy so I'll share them with my two grandsons as well. The price is also reasonable.

These seem like a novel way to create interesting textures. I bought them to try to make leaves on trees and foliage, since everything was coming out "curved" with the fan. These get the job done with a more "natural" looking result. Perhaps they would have no use in more experienced hands, but for me, they are WONDERFUL.

As a sidenote... They feel like the are made of a bunch of rubber bands tied together with the ends cut. The don't seem to absorb any of the paint, and are fairly easy to clean, as easy as any other brush.

I'm submitting a photo as well so you can see the relative size of each brush next to a real hand, as I had a hard time figuring out which ones would be best for different usages. I went ahead and bought the whole set, and am not at all sorry that I did. They are economical and useful enough to warrant it, for me anyway.
