Maimeri Acrylic Mediums

Gloss Medium — Maimeri Acrylic Gloss Medium is a milky fluid that increases the brightness of acrylic colors, improving their film resistance. It may also be used as a finish, for application when the paint is dry.

Matte Medium — Maimeri Acrylic Matte Gel Medium is a milky fluid that reduces the shine of acrylic colors. It can also be used as a matte finish.

Gel Medium Gloss — Maimeri Acrylic Gloss Colorless Gel Medium is recommended for diluting colors for glazing. It slightly increases the brightness of the color and drying time, leaving the viscosity unchanged.

Gel Medium Matte — Maimeri Matte Gel Medium is a colorless acrylic base that increases the color power and brightness of acrylics without changing viscosity. Useful with thicker painting techniques. Once dry, it’s irreversible.

Dense Gel Medium — Maimeri Acrylic Dense Gel Medium is a colorless acrylic glazing medium with high viscosity. Added to colors it improves their flow and resistance, giving them a smooth, velvety texture.

Retarder — Maimeri Acrylic Retarder is a translucent gel that reduces the drying time of acrylic colors. It increases brightness without altering viscosity.
