i used this on clients windows that i have done for years and it DOES NOT COME OFF EASILY!!! i have lost business over this and am SUPER DISAPPOINTED that BLICK who i buy all art materials from would carry this product without a warning!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this paint after trying other paints for windshield painting. Just laast week I painted the windshields and paint is already cracking and coming off. Not pleased at all and will not purchase again.

Previous review is all true. Getting it back off it the toughest part. You have to use razor blades and switch them out often because they don't work as well when they're dull. The water/ammonia sticks the shavings together so they don't blow all over. You have to clean them up well because they grind into the window sill/ pavement and looks ugly. I use an undercoat of interior latex to help pop the colors and it makes the scraping off easier.

My go-to paint when it might rain

I use this paint for windows that are exposed to the rainy weather or inside where condensation forms, b/c it won't run or easily wipe off once it is dry. The colors are great and cover well. I like a gloss finish and these are matte, but I haven't found a good alternative.

It used to come in plastic tubs, and those didn't seal well, so I would put it in empty plastic or glass jars. I'm happy the company now puts the paint in jars.

I have used these paints from year to year. They might dry a tad (peel off the dried top, if so) and need stirred at the beginning of the season. A bit of water can be added if it gets too thick.

I know some people can easily remove this paint, but I've never had good luck with warm soapy water and ammonia. Not even straight ammonia. I usually end up having to use a razor blade and scrape. That is probably the the only thing not so great.

The price is quite a bit more than regular tempera paint which I love to use for window art, but when you need something longer-lasting this is great!
