These wet erase chalk markers will write on any non-porous surface, including glass.
They're great for signage and crafts projects, indoors or outdoors. Once dry, the marker ink will not run when exposed to moisture or rain. All colors wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Pentel Wet Erase Chalk Markers:what we've been searching for
from Seattle, WA
We have been searching for a chalk marker for our outdoor A-board that would hold up to the Seattle rain and still erase easily. We finally found it with these markers and could not be happier!!

We were trying it out on canvas but found it worked best for it's designed use on a chalkboard
these wipe off, sort of...
from somerville, ma
The color is GREAT, and the quality of ink makes the legibility on chalk very high. I like these markers a lot and will continue to use them. However..... working on a chalkboard in a school environment, the facilities said "never again" and had a very hard time w/clean up. (See drawing and it explains a bit.) I had to go in w/SoftScrub and a 3M scrubby to do a more thorough clean, because the marker left ghosted traces of the drawing on the board. I got it off, but required some muscle. My thinking is that if the ink sits, it slightly bonds. If wiped down quickly or left to be more permanent - it's a good option.

We use the window markers to write on our business windows for sales, events, holiday decorations, etc. The color is rich and vibrant enough to see from the roadside (we are set back about a couple hundred feet) which is key for getting customer attention.

Good product - use right cleaner
By Joe & Fitz
I use these for my business (I notice that Starbucks also uses this brand) and we write on chalkboards and erase them frequently. When we first started using these, my employees would give up trying to erase them from the chalkboards until I noticed they had not used the cleaner I supplied: Windex with AMMONIA (old-fashioned Windex) other cleaners did not work - from soft-scrub to fantastick to mineral spirits(!).Old and more porous chalkboards presented more of a problem until we re-painted them. We haven't had a problem since then. The pens aren't great for writing for extended periods on vertical surfaces, but no "paint- type" pens are: you just have to shake and squeeze them a little every so often. colors are rich and clear and visibility for signage is usually better than regular chalk. They're easier to write with than sticks of chalk and they don't rinse off in rain. A bit pricey, but worth it for us.

BEWARE: I had to repaint!
from Columbus OH
I have a screen door for my pantry door. I replaced the screen with plywood and painted over it with chalkboard paint. When I saw these, I thought they would be perfect to write things on the door. However, I was not able to erase the chalk no matter what type of cleaner I used. I used some chalk ink at the same time and was able to erase that with no problem whatsoever. Because of this item I had to repaint my chalkboard. I just wanted to make others aware!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Great for Car Window Painting!
from Atlanta, GA
We used these to decorate our car windows for our son's baseball team. The chalk flowed very easily and gave great coverage with no dripping. We painted the windows Thursday night and woke up to torrential rains Friday morning. I drove an hour in a heavy downpour and NOTHING washed off. Other people used a different brand of chalk paint and theirs completely washed away in the rain. Easiest/Fastest way to remove this paint is with a razor blade/scraper.
