Great way to add texture to flat art work. I placed a texture sheet on both sides of rolled clay before placing in the clay machine - it worked wonderful. Embellishments can easily be added to clay afterwards. Convenient size makes texture sheets very portable to clay classes.

I grabbed these to use with sculpey-type polymer clays.

There's a decent variety of practical textures available (not just scrapbooking patterns), and they're not too pricey.

I was a little disappointed to find they were the same thickness and quality as a disposable "bottled water" bottle -- but they still manage to fulfill their purpose. You certainly wouldn't want to send one of these through an adventure in your pasta press.

Chilling the freshly textured clay in the fridge for a few minutes will reduce the deformation from extraction.
