Convexo is a three-dimensional, beveled, stretched canvas that needs no framing.

This medium-textured, pure cotton duck canvas is pre-primed and mounted on a sturdy, non-adjustable wooden frame with 1½" (38 mm) beveled edges. Its surface is acid-free for permanent painting in oils, acrylics, and alkyds.

I ordered the new convexo canvas. A round one. It is awesome. Very cool. I can't wait to paint on it. It seems to be triple primed and is a little heavy in weight. I love how the sides are so rounded or beveled making it a breeze to paint them, and doesn't need a frame. I can see how fantastic it will look on the wall. However I wish it wasn't so expensive. Maybe because it is a little more effort to make?

I have ordered this product twice and will order it again. It takes a little practice to be able to paint evenly over the edge but other than that I love them! I am painting on the small canvases for our local gallery. I can keep my prices lower because I don't have to frame them.

I love to use the convexo canvas 16 x 20. Everyone who sees my painting just go "WOW". Tney can't believe how great the painting is. No mater where you stand to view the painting its a hit. Vey uninterrupted by a frame yet very classy hanging on a wall.
