Welcome to dickblick
These glazes provide the metallic look of hard steel and the high brilliance of lustre depending on the structure of the ware and the method of application. They can be fired to Cone 06–05 (1855°F–1911°F, 1013°C–1044°C).
Use them in conjunction with other glazes or by themselves by brushing or sponging them on a mature Cone 04 (1971°F, 1077°C) bisque.
With a consistency of rich cream, the glazes must be stirred thoroughly before use. They can also be thinned with water.
All Lustre and Metallic Glazes are lead-free except for Lustre Gold and Bronze Patina. Lustre Green, Lustre Gold and Bronze Patina are restricted from use for K–6 (ASTM D-4236/FHSA).
Color Chart Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials.
