These glazes provide the metallic look of hard steel and the high brilliance of lustre depending on the structure of the ware and the method of application. They can be fired to Cone 06–05 Use them in conjunction with other glazes or by themselves by brushing or sponging them on a mature Cone 04 With a consistency of rich cream, the glazes must be stirred thoroughly before use.
