These semi-translucent, lead-free underglazes have the same distinction as the original Velvet line with the addition of small specks.

When left unglazed, they assume the appearance of velvet or velour, with a soft speckle effect. When glazed with Amaco Transparent Matte or Clear glazes, they intensify in color.

Use these underglazes on greenware or bisque. The recommended firing temperature is Cone 04 (1971°F, 1077°C), but Designer Velvets tolerate a wide firing range. The recommended firing temperature is the same as that of the clay used.

Set of 12 — Contains 12 colors in 2 oz (59 ml), including one each of Sand Dune, Cactus Green, Sandstorm, Feather White, Tumbleweed, Apache Blue, Canyon Beige, Indian Crystal, Navaho Pink, Fossil Gray, Desert Sun, and Rosy Mauve.

Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials.
