This FREE Golden Acrylic lecture demonstration is a fun, fast-paced, informative lecture providing a technical review of acrylics and their varied application possibilities. The lecture demonstration will present information on pigments, viscosities, gels, mediums, and more.
Learn how acrylics can be used as grounds for other media, such as watercolor or colored pencil. Also, get key information on color mixing, blending, and controlling drying time. Plus, see how gels can be used to modify paint properties or create unique textural surfaces. From traditional to contemporary to mixed media, acrylics are infinitely versatile. Learn how two new product lines that Golden recently released can extend your artwork in new directions.
Artists of all levels will come away from this lecture demonstration with fresh insights to feed their creative expression. All participants will receive free product samples and a literature packet, including hand-painted color charts.

Classes will focus on fundamentals, working from real life and photos. Mediums that will be covered include soft pastels, watercolor, and acrylic on different surfaces. The class will introduce various techniques on image transferring and composition.
