It's that time again! Take a look at our schedule for Summer Demo Days 2008. Please join us on Saturdays from 2pm-3pm (some may run longer as necessary) beginning May 31. Please note we will not be having any demos on July 5 due to the holiday weekend.
MAY 31st - CANVAS STRETCHING
A BLICK SUPPORT GROUP! We'll start with the very basics of how to assemble stretcher bars. Then we'll move right on up through to the mysteries of sizing, priming, and stretching canvas or linen the traditional way, and why this method may not be the best!

JUNE 6th - COLOR MIXING DEMO
NO MORE MIXING MUD!! Learn how and why colors interact the way they do. We'll go over basic color mixing and palette setup. The demonstration will involve oil paint, but these principles can be applied to watercolor, acrylic, gouache, house paint, you name it!
JUNE 14th - ACRYLIC MEDIUMS
Acrylic mediums can serve several functions. These products can create texture and can be used as adhesive. They can be layered for different effects and mixed together for endless painting possibilities. This is a hands on demo that will provide new modern approaches to paint and texture. We'll show you unusual and exciting materials that will make your work stand out and be noticed.
JUNE 21st - SCREENPRINTING
Join us for a hands-on screenprinting demonstration! We'll show you the products you'll need and the techniques to bring your ideas to life. Screenprinting is popular and can be profitable. Blick is your one stop screenprinting headquarters and our staff will guide ou through printing on paper, fabric and more! Create fun apparel for family reunions or your bowling league! JULY 19th - BRUSHES
