Walnut Oil has been used interchangeably with linseed oil for over a thousand years. It flows more freely, and has less tendency to crack or yellow.
Today it is known that Renaissance masters such as Da Vinci and Durer generally favored walnut oil over linseed oil.

M. Graham Walnut Oil
By Carol from AR
Comments about M. Graham Walnut Oil:
I am learning to paint in a manner like Arletta Pech and this is what she recommends. I like the fact that I am not inhaling toxic fumes and it is a much healthier alternative to other mediums both for me and for the environment.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

M. graham walnut oil
I use Gamsol to place my first colors then use Walnut Oil, to add my details, shading and highlighting. It just allows the oil paint to flow so nicely.

Like linseed but doesn't smell
from Lynchburg VA
This works like linseed oil but doesn't smell (much - it smells like light cooking oil to me). It's supposed to not yellow. I haven't had it long enough for the paint to be yellowing
Great medium and brush cleaner
from Petaluma, CA
I have been using M. Graham walnut oil as a medium and brush cleaner for many years. My sable brushes last forever.

I pair walnut oil with a Silicoil brush cleaning tank to replace solvents such as Terpenoid that I once used to clean my brushes. In addition to the health advantages walnut oil is much kinder to brushes than solvents which tend to dry out natural brush hair. Thanks to walnut oil I can now paint without nausea and headaches :D

"This is a wonderful product ".

What is great about the product is you can use inexpensive canvas and it will smooth the grain out. Sometime have to use Gesso on the canvas but not that often.

I use this oil to clean my brushes
from Rixeyville Va
Since I have gone solvent-free with my oils (no OMS) I use the walnut oil for cleaning brushes as well as painting. No more headaches or scratchy throat after painting.
