Lascaux Fine Art Fixative is the most versatile fine art fixative you'll ever find — and the only one you'll ever need. It fixes or seals virtually everything, including pastels, pencil, charcoal, crayon, ink, gouache, or watercolor.
Lascaux Fine Art Fixative won't yellow. It resists aging, and is non-matte. Use it on photos, prints, lithographs, proofs, lettering, and gold leaf to make them scratch resistant.
It makes an excellent initial sizing on wood panels and other rigid supports. It comes in a 12 oz aerosol can, and contains no flourocarbons.
® Lascaux is a registered trademark.

Comments about Lascaux Fine Art Fixative:
I use Lascaux fix to seal dry powder pigments on Ampersand pastelbord. It does not kill the colors, the only product that works, wish it was more affordable.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love the finish this product produces on colored pencil drawings. A nice solid fixative to preserve artworks for years to come. Will purchase again

This was a nice product. I was hesitant to use it on my gouache work, but it worked perfectly and did nothing damaging to the painting. It took several coats before I felt like anything was actually on the painting, but overall I think this was a good choice.
Best I've used

I do pencil drawings on vellum and have used many different fixatives. Some I liked some were just not anything I would use again. I never tried this product, mainly because of the price, but thought I would give it a try. It is exceptional! Very smooth finish that is easy to add over. I will definitely be using this again.

The best for charcoal or pastels. No speckles in areas of tone and no shift in color of pastels. I love this. It's worth the higher price because you won't be let down.
No Color Change

My instructor recommended this product. I have gone through an entire can. I do not see any color change when using this product. I use it after I am finished with a drawing. It keeps my pastels from smearing.

Lascaux Fine Art Fixative is expensive, but I consider it well worth the price because it is way above the ordinary fixative. The ordinary one I always used, I had to use very sparingly if at all, because it dulled the pastels. I find I can use enough of the Lascaux to do the job of holding the pastels where they belong so that I can put white, say, over a dark color. And I can use enough to help protect the painting without making it dull. I highly recommend this fixative!
I would buy this product again and again!!

I have tried many fixative over the years, and since I work with color pencils and graphite as one of my artistic expression, its very important. When I heard about this on a color pencil Pod Cast I had to give it a try, and I Love It!!! You will not find any better. The only down fall is the price.
I've been using this for several years now.
One of the best fixative products that I have used.
