I bought the gold pen about five years ago for a project, then left it discarded in a drawer. I used it again last night, and after priming it properly (shaking the pen and pressing the nib to let the fluid saturate the it) the pen worked beautifully. I had expected it to either be dried up or gummy beyond use. I am totally thrilled with the longevity of the pen and am now ordering the other colors.

I use the pens for all kinds of crafts. I make jewelry and if a spot on a pendant is present I cover it with my pens which do a wonderful job. I also paint objects and figurines with acrylic paints, but when I want gold or silver highlights I just use the pens which saves me a lot of time. So far I have bought only the gold and silver, but in the near future I will order the other colors.
Great product.

It does not matter which pen to be used. Each are a continual flow of leafing with out the hazel of glue, brush, etc... Each time I use them what ever the project from parchment to accenting ornaments it looks great. I keep extra on hand so I might just end up using it on most of my projects. If you wish to add an extra flare that will compliment what ever you do, it seems to take it another awesome level.

Ka-Boom!
This blows any other gold paint pen I have used out of the water!
I used this over acrylic gloss gel, that was over graphite and watercolor and it looks like real gold!
Best looking gold paint pen ever!
