This ink tends to clog less than other pigmented inks so it's a must for me.

Techinal Pen Liberation
By meister hoon
from Missoula, MT
Consider using Transmedia ink after cleaning your technical pens I.e. Koh I Noor, rapidograph etc. For a variety of light fast hues in order to try differentiating your sketches/drawings. The results leave the viewer with a great variety of brilliant monochrome pieces. The permanence and intensity is superb at a good price.
Normally A Good Ink. Beware Ordering It From Dick Blick.
By Dos Toros
from Santa Fe, NM
I've used this ink for many years in my Rapidiograph pens and have been very happy with it. It's become harder and harder to find though. I was very happy to see that Dick Blick was still carrying it so I ordered a yellow and a red. When the inks arrived I discovered that the pigments in the Red had settled leaving the ink a very weak red. It seems that the bottle had been sitting for quite sometime. I tried shaking the bottle to remix the pigments to no avail. I was very disappointed.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I am a mixed medium artist and have just started to reuse my skills in pen and ink, the colored ink thatis designed for rapidiograph pens is brilliant in colorand does it's job beautifully. The pens that I boughtare also very good and they also do their job well without clogging'The only complaint I have was it took too long toget here. but that's minor..

White ink doesn't work in Rapidographs,
from Glendale, Arizona USA
I create illustrations using Rapidograph pens. So far, I have tried about eight Trans-Mix Media colors in Rapidographs, and they work well, except for WHITE. The WHITE ink will work well for a short time after the pen is filled, but after that short time, the flow dwindles down to nothing. (I have tried this is both 00 and 1 pens.) Only a thorough pen cleaning and refilling will get the white ink flowing again, after which this cycle repeats. My theory is that the white ink clots easily, and once it clots, the ink will no longer flow. I would recommend all colors except for WHITE for use in Rapidographs.
Best ink for Koh-I-Noor pens hands down
from Escondido Ca
I like their white ink it covers very well. All of their inks are high quality and easy to use. I'm impressed.
Good for Gunpla
By Rob the Gunpla Farmer
from Hahira, GA
I'm a hobby builder in the "Gunpla" category, with over 200 models under my belt and I have enjoyed it. One of the key artistic styles for building these models has been 'panel lining' with markers such as the GSI-Creo brand Gundammarker, but living in the rural-domestic United States, the alternative has been Rapidograph pens such as the Koh-i-Noor brand. The Trans-Mix ink works perfectly, and adheres to the plastic better than the normal universal ink that I had been using before and it flows with my standard pens just right! The choice of colors was a surprise and I look forward to trying more varieties soon!
If you've ever worked in pen and ink before, you know how important it is to have a high quality pen. The Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph technical pen is a legendary art tool that produces consistent lines for fine illustrations and drawing. The Rotring Rapidograph pen is also a quality and versatile technical pen with a disposable ink cartridge.
