These versatile colors are ready for direct application with brush, stamp, squirt bottle, airbrush, or whatever. They are absolutely colorfast on both natural and synthetic fabrics. No special techniques are required. Used straight from the bottle, the colors are intense and semi-opaque.

When diluted with water (or the Extender), these paints have qualities of the best watercolors. Colors can be bright and transparent or light and pastel. All colors are blendable.

Exciter Pack, Textile Traditionals — Intense colors for beautiful brushed results on natural fabrics. Kit includes 0.5 oz (15 ml) bottles in 9 colors: Scarlet, Violet, Sky Blue, Turquoise, Apple Green, Goldenrod, White, Periwinkle, and Russet.

Having used the Jacquard Tie-Dye Kit on poly cotton or cotton shirts, Native American dresses and dance shawls, I then brush-paint the Jacquard Textile Paint in wildlife designs. After heat setting, the painted product lasts a long time if the dyed and painted fabric is washed separately from the other clothes. Dryer sheets will remove the dye, however so I give a Care Sheet with each item I paint and sell. I prefer the hand-brushing for a "no 2 look alike" effect. Jacquard Lumiere if painted on poly/cotton fabric by itself can chip or be removed from the fabric even after heat setting. Jacquard Textile and Lumiere Paints are the only fabric paints I use.

I used this product for monoprinting on fabric and the paint consistency was medium thick, the colors were vibrant. My cloth was gorgeous!

I really enjoy this product and normally the color charts listed here are spot on. Except one color I have used so far. Be warned, if you purchase the pink below and are expecting the shade of pink shown, you are going to be disappointed. The pink appears to be a baby or cotton candy pink here on the site, but is actually more like a maroon or fuchsia in person. Assuming the people that make the product are artists, you would think they would know what a true pink is. But I guess not.

If you are looking to get the pink as shown, I would suggest buying the fluorescent pink and then adding lots of white to it.

The picture attached shows the "pink" compared to fluorescent pink.

The Florescent pink and Florescent red textile paints are almost identical in color... the red is not red at all. I would return it but the shipping price is not worth the effort.

i have tried about a dozen different kinds of fabric paint, and this kind is, hands down, the best. it works great, and adheres to fabric like it's screenprinted. most people are surprized when i tell them i made the shirts myself. and, even though the bottles are small, they go a really long way. use the minumum ammount of paint, paint slowly and you will not be disappointed

I used this textile paint to splatter denim. I used neons, black and white. Fluorescent yellow is very thin and must be mixed with white.Fluorescent orange is too thick so I added water. Overall, I was happy with results! I created a flashback 80's fabric perfect for my collection! Soft, flexible and washable.
