These paints spread beautifully, and flatten out just enough so that the brush strokes don't show once the paint dries. Most of the dark colors are opaque enough that you only need one coat; the lighter colors you'll need 2 or 3 in most cases, but they layer well. Gorgeous finishes, my products (leather pieces) are so beautiful when they're finished!

I bought this paint to use on items that had already been quilted. Previous experience with other types of paint and fabric mediums were unsuccessful, so I didn't really have high hopes for this but I purchased these paints based on other reviews I had read. I am very pleasantly surprised! The paint performed much better than anything else I have tried! The metallics are gorgeous, and easy to thin with water. I let one coat of paint dry, and then added a different shade over parts to achieve a truly spectacular effect! I'll be buying every color available!

Excellent fabric paint and extremely durable when used properly. Does dry too quickly during the painting process. I do wish there was more color selection so I didn't have to blend my own paints.

The pearl colors are absolutely beautiful. I used the white and the blue. I used them on the tiny 2"x2" canvases to make ornaments as well as with my rubber stamp collection to make gift tags-gave the feel of melted wax when used with rubber stamps...a really nice look. Clean stamps quickly after use (it does not give a crisp look like rubber stamp pads). I was disappointed in the metalic silver and ended up not using it for the planned project. It did not have the sparkle I expected. The flow of these paints are very, very nice and a little goes along way. I was also pleased to see that these beautiful colors could by used as fabric dyes.

I value the high degree of personalization allowed with these paints. Not only are they are gorgeous, dimensional colors, they can be diluted, layered and combined with pigment.

I am thrilled with the results I have achieved using the Jacquard Lumiere paints on my art quilts. The consistency and coverage work well on even dark fabrics, and the drying time allows for blending. And yet it dries quick enough to not worry about bleeding. I am back to purchase more colors!
