I tell everyone about this brush because it is so nice to work with, especially wet in wet. The only thing that would make it better would be if it retracted, but I depend on this brush so much. As I mentioned in my other review I have bought this brush multiple times. Once I lost it on a plane and once I bought it as a gift for my niece. Travel brushes are not cheap if they are any good, so I have to really like them to give them as presents on an artist's budget. Use an old or lesser quality brush to work up you paint if you are using pans when you travel to extend the life of your good travel brushes. I will suggest trying something like Arches 4"x 9" panorama sized paper so you can complete a painting before the light changes as suggested by Frank Reaugh(1860-1945)and consider some 300# paper cut down to smaller sizes(even postcard) for a real treat. This Isabey mop is even better on 300# paper! Be sure to air the brush out when you return from your mini art vacation so it dries properly. Hope this helps your painting adventure. PS: Sometimes I call my paintings dress rehearsals when I'm asked how it went, but dress rehearsals can be a lot of painting fun.

Very versatile brush. Wonderful point and great paint capacity. Much easier to take on plein air excursions that a regular squirrel mop as the cap protects the brush hairs.
