The Framatic Fineline Frame features an exceptionally thin face that cleanly defines an image but never overwhelms it. This framing option offers easy loading of your image with the option of a single or double mat.

The patented FRAMLOK corner joining system enables one end of the frame to be easily removed for loading yet remain securely attached when in use. The aluminum molding is an exceptionally thin 1/8", allowing the framed artwork to predominate. Spring clips adjust the depth of the frame to accommodate up to 3/8" of matting and artwork. The glass has smooth, ground edges.

The Fineline is available in a Black or White powdercoated or Silver anodized finish, providing a classic, understated, and appropriate framing solution for any image. A snap-in easel is provided on the 8" × 10" size.

Frame Depth — The depth of a frame refers to the depth of the frame's rabbet (the cut-out area behind the frame's molding that holds your artwork in place). To find a frame that will accommodate your artwork, measure the depth of the artwork, including any matting or mounting materials, and order a frame with a depth that is, at a minimum, the same as that measured depth.

Note — Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including mat, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork ¼" all the way around, so your artwork will fit nicely behind the frame's molding.
