I've used these pen holders for years, both personally and in the classroom. They fit the Speedball Globe and Bowl pen nibs beautifully, are well balanced, and inexpensive. Hundreds of my students have used these without a problem. I highly recommend the pen holders.

I ordered this to use with speedball nibs, having used speedball pen holders in past, and wanting to save money. My advice: Spend the extra dollar for the speedball holder.

The blick pen holder would not take the speedball nibs well, or at all, which was a bummer. I tried several sizes. It may take other brands of nibs.

I purchased these holders after I purchased the Scratch art tool set because I didn't want to keep changing tips. The only problem that I have is that I had to file some of the black insert so that the tips would fit into holder.
