This is great bristol board
from Irving, TX
Comments about Blick Studio Bristol Pads:
Other than the fact that the Bristol board is difficult to tear out, I'm very pleased with this product. It's high quality and a solid price. #sweepstakes

Will Continue to use
from Kansas City, MO
Purchased this as part of my search for the best marker paper to work on. I love these and will use them as my primary paper to work with. It does tend to feather out on the third layer of copics. Easy problem to solve though, just let the first two layers dry and go over it again--no more feathering.

Great Fashion Illustration Pad
By Professor Linda
from New York, NY
I use this size pad to draw a live fashion model weekly. I like the texture and firmness of the Bristol vellum for pencil and watercolor.I wish it had 20 sheets instead of 15 because it uses up quickly.

Great economy buy
Caught these pads on sale and was more than pleased with the quality. I will highly consider these for future needs as an economical alternative to the brand name I had been getting!

For the price, why not buy a pad and see if you like it? I bought one pad of the smooth, and I plan on buying more in a different size. It's efficient to have a wide variety of papers available to you if you have a lot of variety in your work. You can always choose a paper that's just good enough for the project at hand, instead of using a paper that's better and more expensive than what is needed. When I spend more on bristol, it will be to get 3 or 4 ply paper.#sweepstakes
Not a "True" White
from Aurora, CO
This is super heavy weight paper - and at a great price - but it's not a "true" white - which I feel I need for my projects. Other than that - it's a great buy.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I've used this product for graphite drawings. It is very sturdy for mixed media also. A BH pensil will not harm (scratch or dent) the paper, but anything else with an H will damage it severely so watch out.

White, stiff, smooth. Bleeds drawing ink the tiniest bit. Holds acrylic paint ok. Use it a lot for various mediums.
