Welcome to dickblick
This is a distinctive brush made of five diameters and three lengths of an exclusive Polymide filament. Each strand is tapered to a precise tip, much like natural hair. The combination of multiple diameters and lengths allows for the formation of color-carrying pockets within the brush.
The tapered tips make this the best-pointing synthetic available, especially in the larger sizes. The striking look of this brush, combined with the same craftsmanship built into all of our Master Series watercolor brushes, makes it a pleasure to use.
Lifetime Guarantee — When properly used and properly cared for, Blick Master Series brushes will last a lifetime. If at any time you are dissatisfied with the materials or performance of a Master Series brush, you may return it to Blick for a replacement.

like these brushes very much
I got a surprise when I ordered individual brushes by size, and instead received a couple of sets. May be a glitch in the item numbers? I decided to keep them, because these are very nice brushes. My biggest complaint is tbe plastic collars are impossible to get off. I cut off as much as possible but a part of the plastic collar remains stuck on each brush. Nevertheless, tbese are very nice brushes and will be particularly useful for more precise strokes. The syntheticvs natural bristle, makes for nice tight/smooth edges. Because of the item number glitch and the plastic collar issue, if I want larger sizes, I'll buy them in the brick and mortar store and ask the employees to remove the collars. !

Comments about Blick Master Synthetic Filbert:
I like the way it feels as it touches the canvas. I use my brushes as an extention of my total self to model and mold the forms on my canvas...I use and average of 25 brushes during one session...I put them down as they get tired for the day and grab a fresh one...always clean them at the end of the day with The Master's Brush cleaner. I am going to call you on that guarantee at some point. I have over a 1000 brushes, but this is my favorite brand.
my last Blick order
I order most of my art materials from Blick. The highest quality and the price is right.

Perfect for learning
I teach high school painting and the Blick line of synthetic brushes stand up well to the rigors of students. They will lose shape if they are left in water too long, but if taken care of well, they hold up great for their price.
Staff is friendly, helpful and I know I'll receive my order a

Love, love, love!

I was trying to order the Silver black velvet round but because I'm in Canada, there was a restriction (squirrel hair) so I bought the Blick Master Synthetic 2, 4 and 6 round with the red handles and they are now my absolute favorite brushes for watercoloring small (card sized) panels. I had a Grumbacher #4 round that was terrible and didn't come to a point at all so I was using a miscellaneous brush that was about the same size that worked well. Now I can put that brush back with my acrylic brush set and the Grumbacher is going to be used for masking fluid. These Blick brushes have an incredibly sharp point and hold just the right amount of water and pigment. So happy with them.
