If you have never drafted before then this kit maybe great for you. However as a serious drafter who was in need of new supplies this was not the kit for me. Everything in this kit feels and looks flimsy and cheap. The architectural scale for me is the worse offender. With the slightest use the ink rubs off. Thats not to mention that a good architectural scales is beveled which this one is not.

To sum up if I had to draft something and there were absolutely nothing else to use, I would use the items in this kit. But since there are so many other better options I cannot recommend this kit.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The problem with this product is that both triangles, the french curve etc. are made from very thin plastic, and though they were placed against a cardboard sheet,becase of their size I guess, they arrived broken or cracked. So my advice is either buy them in the local store or buy something more durable.
