    1. Create your snow globe figurines on a cutting mat. (We used a Blick Self-Healing Cutting Mat.) Use Sculpey clay, X-Acto knives, and/or a sculpting tool set. Or gather premade figurines, ornaments, or plastic trees that are small enough to fit inside the wine glass.

    2. Bake your Sculpey figurines according to package directions. Finish them with a coat of Sculpey Glaze or Mod Podge.

    3. Make a base for your snow globe. Place the wine glass upside-down on a basswood sheet (or cardboard as an alternative) and trace the edge with a pencil. Cut out the shape.

    4. Paint the base with white acrylic paint and set aside to dry. (We used Utrecht Artists' Acrylic.)

    5. Arrange your decorations on the base. Glue them down with the hot glue gun.

    6. When the glue is dry, place the wine glass over the base to make sure everything fits. Flip the wine glass right-side up and pour 1/4 cup of Creativity Street Random Disco Glitter Flakes into the glass. Add optional fake snow or finer glitter for extra sparkle.

    7. Place the base on top of your wine glass (figurine-side down) until it's level with the edge of the glass. Secure the base with hot glue or glass adhesive around rim of glass. Let the glue set.

    8. When the base is securely attached, flip your wine glass upside-down, finish with a ribbon, and enjoy! Top your wine glass with a candle, and you're ready to show off your festive new snow globe.
