Weber wOil Water Mixable Artist Oil Colors have a very smooth, buttery consistency with a medium-body to heavy-body viscosity that can be used directly from the tube, thinned with water, or blended with traditional oil colors, mediums, and acrylic-based colors.
Considered "permanent" for artists' use, all wOil colors have a lightfastness rating of I or II. When wOil colors are thinned with water, the water evaporates from the paint film fairly rapidly, leaving behind a traditional film of oil that dries by oxidation. The reflective quality of the wOil film and drying times vary from color to color.
Weber wOil colors generally dry within three to five days, which is slightly faster than traditional oil colors.
Weber wOil Artist Oil Colors are ideal for studio or classroom use.
Reflective of the breakthrough "green" chemistry employed in the development of wOil Artist Oil Colors, all colors are AP non-toxic.

Comments about Weber wOil Water Mixable Artist Oil Colors:
I was using one product for years and finally other brands came out that are significantly less expensive. I use several brands now and am so glad to have a choice. These are looser and more buttery than other brands but work nicely. #sweepstakes

The consistency of this paint is a little like a marshmallow icing. Not as sticky, but it's not as thick and solid as Duo Aqua Oil Paint, but for the price it's hard to pass up. I think I probably use more but it's still a value. My paintings don't show any difference between the higher priced paint and this one. #sweepstakes

A couple of years ago I bought thiese Weber mixable oil and I wasn't sure about them. The smell of the paint is like traditional oil. So I just used them in palette knife style paintings. Well, I discovered how beautiful the paint handles with a brush. Easy to thin with water and clean up is easy too. I also use them with walnut oil, beautiful! I would recommend this paint over any watermixable oil paint. Believe me I've tried about all the mixable and this brand works for me.

Not the Best When it Comes to Water Mixable Oils
Although Weber is very reasonably priced and has a good color range, they just aren't even close to being one of the best Water Mixable paints out there. They are just too "gummy" when trying to add water to thin. Cobra is by far the best. They handle almost identically to traditional oils and solvents when thinning with water, they are perfectly soft in viscosity, and dry to a luscious sheen. Second best is the Holbein Aqua Duo, but Cobra is better and less expensive.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Really great paints at an awesome price!

These paints are nice and thick but thin down easily. I had used some of the cheaper brand regular oils before,..but these water mixable oils seem much better to me. Easy to blend,..good selection of colors too! Cleans up easily.

I had been using one companies water soluble oil paint for a number of years and when I found that this product was available at a lower price I thought I'd give it a try. I'm very pleased with the texture and color. It's every but as good as the high priced paint.
Definitely not "artist" quality
I've been using Grumbacher Water Mixable Oils for a long time, and decided to try these, since they were labeled "artist". Colors are washed out, bland and my painting looked like I used some two dollar student paints.I realize there ARE good deals for oil paints (such as Utrecht), but these wOils are so bland and colorless I'd recommend any other brand over them.
