Since 1853, the Weber name has been synonymous with high-quality art materials. The oldest and one of the largest manufacturers of art materials in the U.S., Weber offers a variety of mediums for use with Weber Permalba Oil Colors and other professional-quality oil paints.
Weber Oil Painting Mediums are ideal for extending oil paints, for accelerating drying time, for increasing transparency, brilliance, or durability, or for creating a variety of oil painting effects.
Light Drying Oil
This mixture of purified linseed oil and Turpenoid is ideal for thinning oil colors or making painting mediums.
Weber Linseed Oil is widely used in diluting oil or alkyd colors. It is also used in preparing painting mediums, and is even good for cleaning brushes. This fine quality, purified and refined linseed oil is pressed from flaxseed. It contains no free mineral acids.
Liquiglaze Oil Medium
Weber Liquiglaze is an excellent medium for fine detail, impasto, or glaze effects. It dries quickly, is resistant to yellowing, and provides a long lasting quality paint film. The consistency is that of a soft translucent gel, making it ideal for mixing with heavy artist oil color. Weber Liquiglaze Oil Medium can be thinned with turpenoid or turpentine.
Oil Painting Medium
Use Weber's Oil Painting Medium with oil paints when durability is desired. It imparts brilliance to colors and gives a pleasant consistency.Oil Painting Medium is prepared from refined linseed oil, damar varnish, and artist's pure gum turpentine.
Process Thickened Linseed Oil
Faster drying than Stand Oil, this pale, heavy-bodied oil is prepared to possess the properties of a sun-thickened oil. It's superior to other heat-treated linseed oils when used with painting mediums.
Rapidry Oil Painting Medium
Imagine oil paintings that are dry to the touch overnight. It is possible when oil paint is mixed with this non-yellowing or darkening medium. It also plasticizes paint film to prevent cracking.
Res-N-Gel Quick Drying Extender Gel
This full-strength, ready-to-use, synthetic resin gel produces transparent, yet full-bodied colors. It extends expensive oil colors, prevents colors from running, retains the character of brush strokes, holds sharply defined detail, adds luminosity and brilliance to colors, and accelerates drying. Also expect a buttery brush response.
It's excellent for brush or knife to create a full range of impasto, opaque, or translucent glazed effects. Non-toxic. Furnished in 5 oz (148 ml) tube.
This pale-colored, heavy-bodied, polymerized linseed oil improves the characteristics of painting mediums. It's slower drying than conventional linseed oil, and the performance results include a more durable film with less tendency to after-yellowing.
Weber Transparentizing Medium is a versatile, non-toxic medium that's increases the transparency and flow of oil paints while extending their drying time. It can also be used as a varnish. Best of all, it can be cleaned up with soap and water. Try it for glazing, antiquing, and oil rouging techniques.
Weber Turpenoid is a premium artists' medium that is the quality substitute for turpentine. An odorless, very volatile, thin, colorless medium, Turpenoid possesses the same painting properties and drying time as turpentine but is free of the strong odor that is characteristic of turpentine.
Use Turpenoid with artists' oil colors, varnishes, and mediums. Turpenoid is also excellent as a solvent or paint brush cleaner, and for use in removing paint spots from clothing.
Turpenoid Gel is a fast-drying medium that increases the transparency of oil colors and can create an impasto effect. Clear, semi-soft, smooth, and extremely flexible, it holds brush strokes and dries to a matte finish. Packaged in a 5 oz (150 ml) tube.

Comments about Weber Oil Mediums:
I use the Walnut Oil to thin the Old Holland oils for glazing. The walnut oil works really well, is very silky. I find it doesn't extend the drying time at all, which is good. I also love the texture it creates for the glazes! Totally smooth and light!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Very Pleased. This Terpenoid is truly odorless
A very competitive price for an odorless paint thinner. I am an oil painter and have used some very noxious "odorless" thinners but this product is as odorless as can be. No frills, exotic claims or eco-hype...just a very good product.
a great product
I have never used this product before but it does the job.
I have used Weber Resin Gel for many years. My students love it too. Nice buttery feel.
Loved this Medium. Simply a must have!

As recommended by the art studio that I attend. This product works great for spreading and transparentizing oil paints so they can remain in the background in a manner that pops the foreground into a great focal item. Loved it.
I would use this product again

Like I've said earlier it doesn't get much better for the money, using weber products for your artist oil painting needs. They are superb.

I haven't been able to compare it with other products like this. However I really like res-n gel. It's the easiest medium I've found to work. Medium in bottles drive me nuts because often the lid gets stuck to the bottles. That's never been a problem with res-n gel. It increases the paint coverage and makes fantastic glazes as well. I will say I was in a Dick Blick store last week and they didn't have res-n gel, So I bought some new gel by Gamblin. We'll see how they compare. At this point I can't tell which is best since I haven't used the Gamblin product.
Fantastic mediums at low prices you can't find anywhere
Mediums I have bought several kinds anything from speeding up to slowing down dry times. I have also bought some to thin and to thicken oil paints all I have purchased have worked well and I would definitely buy them again!
Best medium I've found
I love this medium. It adds flow to oil paint and glazes can be made from it. It's a life saver for oil colors that are on the dry side. So it makes them usable. It also speeds up drying time considerably. It would be an excellent product for plein air painting since it's in a tube with twist cap. No glass jars.
