My son asked for clay that won't harden, and I purchased this clay based on the description. Although it does not dry out and become hard, it is already a very stiff clay. I have used oil clay in the past and that is what I was hoping for. I assumed this was the same thing, but clearly it is not. It is not very pliable, and I would definitely not recommend it for small tots. It is more appropriate for adults or those with stronger hand muscles.

I love this clay! And got a fantastic deal! This is not the first time I have used it. It lasts a very long time before hardening at all - years. It is also very true to its colors - no mixes in the packages or discoloration. I use it in my classes for the students to make clay models of things in the different subjects. We are all very happy with our recent clay purchase and it's used every day!

I use this to support the fins of fish when I do Japanese fish printing (gyotaku). This modeling clay is flexible and strong. I lasts almost indefinitely. Does not stain my prints. I prefer white.

Plastalina is a bit heavy to transport or mail.

I use this clay in my classroom to help students demonstrate the ideas they are learning. I usually buy it from another supplier but Blick had it a lot cheaper so I tried them. I was very happy with the prices and speed of their service. I will definitely go with them again!
