Utrecht has been carefully handcrafting Utrecht Artists' Acrylic Colors in its Brooklyn, New York, mill for more than 50 years. In fact, it was one of the first companies to develop and manufacture artists' acrylics in the world. These fine paints are prized by professional artists for their remarkable brilliance, rich texture, outstanding lightfastness, and excellent longevity.
Pure pigments in the highest possible concentrations are combined with superior-quality polymer vehicles to produce colors with exceptional clarity, covering power, and tinting strength. A wide range of single pigment formulas offers excellent mixing results.
Although they are professional quality, the affordable price of Utrecht Artists' Acrylics makes them a great choice for painters of every level, including beginners and students. They are available in tubes, jars, and gallons for projects of any scale.

Product is the best for my acrylics
from Keizer Ore.
I've been using Utrecht paints for years and it's never dissapointed me.
from Port Charlotte FL
I bought a couple of Utrecht acrylic paints because, while I ordered several of BLick's brand, there were a few colors I wanted, or wanted in larger quantity. So far I have been very pleased with these paints. They have a lot of body, they mix well with other colors and brands, and there's a good selection of colors. I will certainly order more in the future. And the price is very nice compared with some other popular professional brands.
enjoying this product
I've used watercolor and now want to try painting with acrylics I think they will be easier than watercolor, maybe not but we'll see.I'm a want to be artist, retired and just having fun.
Painting with scrylics is better than with oils... Safer, too!!
Claims to be heavy body
from Lake Tomahawk, WI
Although the label claims to be heavy body, the pigment was weak.I had to give multiple coats to cover. This was the first time I have used them but will go another brand next time. However, they are large tubes for the money.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

from Mesa, AZ
I use this in an art journal, and find this to be a wonderful product that does not add a lot heavy, stiff material to the paper--just wonderful color. It reminds me a bit of Golden high flow acrylics, but with slightly more body. Way lighter than Basic, but with intense color and a significant transparency that is delightful for many uses. I only bought one tube to try. I will be ordering more. I think they will be wonderful for blending just the shade I want.

I use the Utrecht paints for underpainting, to cover the most area, and then other paints/media for the final surface. This paint, for me, is perfect for this task.
