Nice drawing table!

Comments about Studio Designs Creative Table and Stool Set:
Nice, solid bit of affordable studio furniture! Went together pretty easily, but the slide brackets for the table-tilt are a bit hard for one person to adjust by themselves; maybe mine are just sticky because they're new. Time will tell. Over all, a really attractive and sturdy drawing/drafting table for the price!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This table was everything I had hoped for. Easy to assemble, even for someone like me with min. assembly skills. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that there was a huge scrape mark on the underside of the table & five smaller scrapes on the top of the table that were obviously there from the beginning because they were varnished over. Since this did not interfere with using the table I chose not to return the item. The size of the table was perfect for my smaller work space yet large enough to handle my drawing and creative needs. The colour of the table is beautiful in my opinion and matched the rest of my furniture. The stool is a great addition and just the right size. The table is sturdy yet light enough to be moved around easily. I do wish there was a way to "lock" in the table at a completely flat level as you can easily tip the table if too much pressure is applied at the front of the table top, but that is more my own personal problem I think and a minor one at that. Overall I found the table and stool to be of good quality, a great value and a product that I'd recommend to my friends. I bought my set as a birthday present for myself and am really glad that I did.

This table is very, very pretty. It is FURNITURE. I don't want to go near it with an x-acto knife or any other tool that I normally use to draw or set up a painting. Putting it together was frustrating and slow -- the directions could be clearer (the drawings of the bolts did not look like the actual bolts in the package; sizes could be specified; one or two extra dowels could be included). The allen wrench system works, but it's somewhat difficult physically and time consuming if you're just a little person (as I am). When it's together, it wobbles slightly. I'm hoping that doesn't get worse with use -- if I can ever bring myself to use it. I wish I'd spent a little more money and gotten a better table.

I was looking for a surface to use when painting my watercolors. It went together pretty easily and is perfect for painting and adjusting to any angle I need.
This set is solid, easy to put together and great looking. I have been using this table for several months and am very pleased with my purchase.

Very nice once it is together
from New York
This table is very functional, solid, and attractive. Excellent surface space, and both height and angle are adjustable. I am really pleased. It is so much nicer looking than a white melamine table. The instructions for putting it together were clear and all of the parts were in the box. There was only one problem in assembling it: some of the pre-drilled holes were too tight for the long allen screws. It took a lot of time and effort to get them in and then tightened. If you have a vice grip to hold the round bar, that would be advisable. I had to use pliers with a towel.
