Comments about Strathmore Windpower Drawing Pads:
This pad is a great deal! It is big, thick and a good price for what you get. I even fell down the stairs while holding it, and there was minimal damage. (I'm not joking) I love that the pages have perforation, so they can be torn out easy.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great value and quality
from Phoenix, AZ
This paper is a great value, eco-friendly, and super sturdy. Alongside dry media, I use watercolor, watercolor pencils, water-soluable graphite, and water-soluable pastels on it and it doesn't give me any drama. I scan my work to be used digitally, so I can't say it would be great for commissioned originals, but it holds up to most media and is definitely a product I'd recommend and buy again.

Strathmore is the top for me
By Adam still Learning

I use these notebooks as portable sketchpads. I draw at work on break and at home in my leisure time. I have the 9x12, the 11x14 and the 14x17 sizes. The paper is very consistent with all the methods I use. I have used charcoal, colored pencil and graphite (drafting pencil) on them and I just have no complaints. I will be back for more once I burn through the ones I have already.

Great paper, great value
By VT Mama
Purchased the largest size pad for my 6-year-old son to use for at-home drawing. He loves the scale, and the paper is sturdy enough to stand up to his walking and crawling on the page as he draws.

Strathmore Windpower Drawing Pads
from DeKalb, IL
Love using it with both watercolor pencils and regular colored pencils. Does not buckle when water is added to watercolor pencils. Easily takes 10 light layers (5 layers done with heavy pressure). An environmentally conscious artist cannot get anything better than this.
Strathmore Artist Papers supports environmental solutions that don't compromise their paper performance, appearance or price.
