Created with plein air painters and urban sketchers in mind, Strathmore's Watercolor Travel Series Pads and Journals are designed for on-location artwork.   Made from 100% cotton, the cold press watercolor paper in these pads and journals is tough and resilient, ideal for scrubbing, scraping, and other rough techniques. The convenient sizes and formats are extremely portable.   Strathmore Watercolor Travel Series Pads each contain  20 pages (10 sheets)  of  140 lb (300 gsm)  paper. Strathmore Watercolor Travel Series Journals each contain  24 pages (12 sheets)  of  140 lb (300 gsm)  watercolor paper. The journals also have a soft silicone binding to keep the pages secure during transport, plus saddle-stitching in a complementary aqua color.
