The same great art paper that has become the standard for quality, consistency, and performance for fine art applications, Stonehenge paper is now available in a more permanent format — wire-o spiral pads.
Each pad contains 32 sheets of heavyweight, 90 lb (250 gsm), 100% cotton, neutral-pH paper that is acid-free and chlorine-free, perfect for monthly visual journaling or travel journaling.
The paper is suitable for mixed media, collage, wash, watercolor, pen-and-ink, graphite pencil, colored pencil, watercolor pencil, charcoal, pastels, and rubber stamping. The wire-o binding also allows for sticker inclusions or additions, such as small travel brochures, postcards, or maps.
The rigid, unfinished 70 pt covers invite personalization by the artist, while the durable, black, double wire-o spiral allows both covers to fold back for easy balancing and grasping. The binding also allows the pads to lie perfectly flat.
Manufactured in the USA.

Great Paper, Great Pads
from Los Angeles
Comments about Stonehenge Spiral Pads:
Have used almost all sizes as journals, largest two for life drawing workshops. The thick blank cardboard covers are great for drawing support and I keep returning to this paper for mixed media/light wash watercolor work. Hope they keep making the spiral bound version for a long time to come.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Precisely what I want in paper.

Stonehenge pads are precisely what I want in paper: decent weight, no tooth, light tint.
My favorite Paper in the Best Format
from Brooklyn, NY
Best paper for mixed media, spiral bound sketch pad allows me to work on multiple pieces at once rather than tearing them out like the other Stonehenge pads.

Wonderful for pastels
from Akron, OH
I honestly can't compare this paper to other pastel papers as I haven't experimented enough just yet. I can say I'm pleased with the quality of this paper so far. The cream color is subtle compared to other Stonehenge colors. The texture (tooth) holds the pastel well. The only problem is its lack of forgiveness if you make a mistake. Whether it be pastel or graphite, it's not easy to take back, so tread lightly.

The best colored pencil paper
By Cheerio Greerio
from Birmingham, AL
I got to this drawing pad through a process of trial and error when trying to find a paper pad perfect for colored pencils, and I really think I found it. I already had this in cream but ordered another in white and both are perfect for pencil drawings. The tooth is very very fine so projects don't seem grainy. The only complaint I have is that the paper is not perforated so you have to cut it out of the pad every time you want four clean edges, but I can get over that for the quality of this paper.
Wonderful paper with a great feel

Perhaps the best paper in a sketchbook that I have ever seen . I use this book for my special sketches.
colored pencil nirvana
from Cincinnati, OH
The rip off pad of paper comes in many sizes, has a rough and a smooth side, and is perfect for colored pencil, pencil, or pastel. The rip off pad provides more sheets for the buck than the collection of colored Stonehenge papers in the pad. It is also thicker than Meitens and some of the other surfaces.
I use the Stonehenge pad for preparing sketches that help me draw/paint components for a finished work. I like the heavier paper as I can use both sides of a sheet. Super nice.
I use this spiral for a studio drawing class. It works great and is sturdy. The color of the pages aren't white, but it doesn't bother me.
Love this paper

I love the Stonehenge paper, the weight the smoothness, everything about it. I especially love the spiral bound top that you now have how cool is that!!!
