Use these special polymer clays to create unique and exciting Fimo projects. Choose from Glitter, Stone, Metallic, Nightglow, and Translucent effects. These clays can be used by themselves or intermixed with other Fimo clays.

Fimo bakes to a hardened state in a kitchen oven, and can be carved, filed, cut, and painted once baked. Colors are fade-proof, odorless, and washable.

Individual colors are packaged in 2 oz (57 g) or 13 oz (369 g) blocks. Once a package has been opened, unused clay should be carefully packed and tightly sealed to maintain freshness.

Glitter — These clays contain reflective sparkles for creating objects with a glittery finish. They can be used alone or added to other Fimo clays.

Nightglow — Glows in the dark for approximately 1 hour, from natural (and safe) phosphorescence. Rejuvenates with exposure to light.

Color Chart Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials.

The Effects polymer clay is easy to work with. As with any of the Fimo brand clay it is a little difficult to condition but once you have it workable you will love it.

I have been working with Fimo for over 30 years now. I love the ease of working and conditioning the clay and how durable it is after it has been baked. I have tried other brands but always come back to Fimo. I am loving the effect clay. It allows me to add a little pazzaz to the jewelry I make.

Love This! But overpriced for hard clay

I think this item is overpriced. I love the effect it gives for the project I'm doing, but it's very hard to soften up. You can actually hurt your hand trying to soften it. But the glow is amazing. Takes seconds to make it glow in the dark. So it's a mixed review with me

I must say, I ordered a 2 ozs, sample pack, I made one item. It was a beaute! The texture and finish was a delicious joy to touch and behold. It sanded beautifully without markings and as light as a feather.

I make somewhat of a triangular jar with a flower growing out of the top. What is amazing is the fact that the clay was pass through a setting of 5 or 4, yet it stood up firmly without shifting or collapsing. Nicely done for the PEARL...

I Have been Using Fimo since 1994 I found it incredibly useful for making little sculptures with embedded color not allowing color wear off. I am still using this product for relatively the same aspect. Now though i build scale Models that i use to get a better definition of Light on my Characters, and Structures. Over the Years I looked for suitable replacements, quite a number of times, and found I could not compare quality at any time, and price most of the time, I would love it if Fimo Had some other products in which to enhance the Building/ sculpting experience Though I am content with what is here right now.
