Envirovent is an effective kiln-venting system that draws out firing odors and vents them outdoors. The Envirovent creates a downdraft effect which improves firing consistency as well. 

Compact and unobtrusive, the Envirovent can be attached to virtually any popular, multi-sided, electric kiln in minutes. The only modification required is the drilling of small holes in the kiln's lid and floor. Drill set is supplied. 

Includes an integral blower unit in-line switch, 18&quot; (46 cm) stainless steel exit duct, and installation and operating instructions. 3&quot; (10 cm) rigid or flexible drier ducting (available at hardware stores) is recommended to vent to outdoors. However, a 3&quot; to 4&quot; adapter is included if you want to use 4&quot; ducting. The 115V air-cooled motor is UL and CSA listed, and operates on 1.1A household current. It will not overheat or shut off due to firing heat. Limited two-year warranty. Weighs 25 lb (11.3 kg).

Add the Skutt Envirovent 2 Dual Exhaust Kit to the Skutt Envirovent 2 (sold separately) for the capability to vent two large kilns with chambers up to 12 cubic feet. This kit can also attach to single kilns over 12 cubic feet to better remove fumes.


Easy to install, this kit contains everything you need. It includes the ducting Y, additional ducting, and a collection cup.

The Skutt Linkboard acts as your link to your kiln. It has two ports — the top port connects to a customizable output on the controller, like the Skutt Envirolink, which automatically turns kiln vents on and off. The Linkboard can also be used to run a warning light, alarm, or auto-dialer.


The Linkboard's lower port connects your kiln to the internet via Kilnlink. It feeds the kiln’s firing and diagnostic data to your personal MySkutt webpage to interpret, present, and store the information in real time. Monitor your firing, study past firings, make notes, and more wherever you have internet connection. It can also send text alerts to your phone.
