This revolutionary new synthetic has the control and feel of interlocked bristle. It is even more durable than natural hair.
Ruby Satin offers a vast choice for artists working in traditional or modern media. These brushes have a precise snap and fine control. They are designed to replace more expensive natural hair brushes.
Bright and Flat — A Bright is a short flat brush that absorbs less color and has a stiffer stroke. A Flat is longer than a Bright and is consequently more flexible at the tip.
Brush sizes — The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size may vary by manufacturer as brush sizes are not standardized. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from within a single brush line.

I love these brushes - ordered them 3X & have 28
By Jockey Club Len

Comments about Silver Brush Ruby Satin Synthetic Brushes:
Doing a fairly large oil and like working with sable brushes. I wanted some large sizes but softer than bristle so I ordered a few of these and really liked them. I placed two more orders and have most sizes and shapes; actually 28 of them. Well made, good spring and clean easily.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Cheap, Durable, Paints

This is the only brush I buy. Cheap, holds paint well, and they hold their shape
These are the best brushes for acrylic paint around!
from Birmingham, AL
I have just started painting this past year, and I have tried a number of various brushes that I have randomly picked up along the way. The Ruby Satin Silver brushes were recommended by a long time artist, so I tried them. They are by far a more superior brush compared to the other brushes I have purchased. They may be a little more expensive, but I feel they are well worth the extra to purchase them. Their edges and points stay sharp and intact.
I love these brushes. Will buy again.

Brushes recommended by an artist friend. I had several brushes but these brushes are now one of my favorites.

The perfect "blend"
By Equine Artist
from Waverly Hall, GA
I decided to do a large scale horse portrait. This called for some larger brushes. Typically I use some hog bristle but mostly sable brushes. For this project I wanted affordable brushes that had a stiffness somewhere in between the bristle and sable so after doing a lot of comparison shopping online I bought a handful of these brushes and a few others just in case I was disappointed in these. I was not disappointed at all. I love these brushes and just ordered another handful in other sizes. Great bargain and a great brush.

Beautiful Workhorse Brushes for Acrylic Painting
By J S Rowe
I purchased these Silver Brush Ruby Satin Synthetic Brushes in order to compare them with the Silver Brush "Bristlon" variant. I am really happy with both types. The Bristlon brushes have a white hog-bristle colour and are stiffer and good for laying on thick strokes, scumbling, and also scrubbing paint into the canvas. I find that the Phthalo colours tend to stain them a little. These "Ruby Satin" brushes are slightly softer and yet still have a lovely spring to them. I also like the colour of the fibres, as they don't tend to show any residual staining from the Phthalos. Both series clean up very easily, even if I forget to do it right away (with a a light soaping with Master's brush cleaner). I love working with both these series of brushes from Silver and highly recommend them to all artists.

Comments about Silver Brush Ruby Satin Synthetic Round:
Great I was looking for a brush that came to a small point for details...wish they had one size smaller but this brush still does a great job.

These brushes were recommended by my professor of portrait painting at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. I can understand why! They work beautifully and clean up easily and perfectly.

Comments about Silver Brush Ruby Satin Synthetic Flat:
Needed to replace old brushes and on advise from my painting instructor purchased these. Work great and paint flows nicely!! Very pleased.
Can take some «abuse»
Comments about Silver Brush Ruby Satin Synthetic Bright:
I had a special oil painting need when I chose to try this brush: scrubing, scribbling,... In the end, it can take some amount of «abuse» if taken care of.
