Comments about Scratch-Art Scratch-Lite "Stained Glass" Sheets:
This wasn't quite what I had in mind, but it is really fun to work with. I didn't read the description closely enough. I thought it would be more of a cardstock because I wanted to use the product to make bookmarks. I didn't realize it would be more of a thin, film like paper. I made it work by laminating it once I was done. The colors are very vivid when held up to the light, or when put on a white background.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It wasn't what I expected

I wanted to do scratch art but I didn't like the glossiness. I know it said stained glass effect but I can't use it for the purpose I had wanted, which was not hold it up to light or window. I thought this product just had stained glass effect in color only.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I use this product in an elementary school after school art club. It is always a guaranteed hit with the students and I frequently have parents ask me about the product.

I use these scratch art sheets to create Gothic Rose windows with my seventh grade. They turn out great and the students are super excited about them. I love how easy it is to scratch. We can use wooden scratch sticks or sharpen the back end of paint brushes to create a scratching tool.

I use the scratch art sheets in my art classes, where students scratch out their own designs with little wood styluses and then we place the finished product inside glass cylinders. Add a candle and you have a beautiful home made votive candle holder. The colors just glow and shine through the scratch art paper.Would also be great for window art, lampshades, etc. Even Kindergarten students love getting creative with this product. Love the ease of use for all ages.

Every Spring I purchase a package of Scratch Lite Sheets for my elementary age students. I have templates for them to copy onto the paper and they love the resulting brightly colored pictures!
