Comments about Princeton Snap! Golden Taklon Brushes:
I use a lot of these for oil, ink, watercolor, acrylic, gouache. I have a couple sets to keep watercolor separate. I have been using them for a couple of years and go back to them again and again. They have held up, have a good weight, the bristles haven't yet bent, frayed, split. The brushes handle very thin and thick heavy loads of paint. The rounds maintain a long even stroke with ink, watercolor, acrylic.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great Value Watercolor Brushes
from South Bend Indiana
I am an art student who originally came across the inexpensive brushes from a Youtuber. I have bought nearly all the round brush sizes in this range. When I first got them they all came to me with nice fine points. My very first ones were the size 20 round that I got sometime last summer, as well as a size 10 that I found at a different art store a little while after. Over a year later and the points on them are still great after fairly regular use (granted the number 20 has curved just slightly, but for this price I would have expected it to a lot sooner. This can also be fixed with boiling water). The same goes for all the other brushes I got later on as well. The bristles, from my experience, are quite soft and silky feeling and they are also very snappy (hence the name) and hold a nice amount of water and paint for my purposes. The handles are a bit wider than normal for me, but I actually like that, because I feel it helps me hold the brushes better. So far I have had no issues of shedding bristles, loose ferules, or wood from the handles cracking or splitting. They also just look really nice in general imo. Needless to say, I really like these brushes and am happy to have them in my expansive brush collection. I am looking forward to testing out other brush types in this range and would totally buy these again :)

Love These Brushes
By Cassandra V.
from Conway, AR, USA
Very nice brushes for the price. The brush handle is large and comfortable and the brushes are easy to clean. Compared to cheaper brushes, these brushes have softer hair tips and more "snap," as in they bounce back easily. The handles are short and therefore easy to transport and use. If you make sure not to get paint up to the ferrule (the metal part) they will last a long time.

Favorite synthetic brushes
from Yucaipa, CA
Excellent brushes for beginner or intermediate watercolorists. They have excellent snap and they do not shed bristles. I use many of the brushes in this range on a daily basis alongside more expensive sable and squirrel brushes. Highly recommend for their value

It's a "Snap!" for success with Princeton Snap! Brushes
By Meri the Brush Whisperer

I have been an artist(Painter) and teacher for over 40 years, and I have to say that the Princeton Snap! Golden Taklon Brushes are one of the best deals out there.Even tho they are an inexpensive brush they perform exceedingly well for both acrylic and water soluble oil. Personally, they are comfortable to handle and give very consistent results. For students, they give them the joy of a great brush without requiring them to spend a fortune. I truly cannot say enough about them. When they do get tired and they do because I use them alot! I'm not quite as sad because I know their quality is consistent and that a new one will give me the same predictable quality!!
Perfect all around brushes.
