Comments about Pottery Plaster No. 1:
Worth it to pay a bit more per pound to get Pottery Plaster in 20 Lb. lot, and to not have to go pick it up (Cheaper than buying a car).

First time I ever tried to make pottery plaster, very easy to mix, dried as expected. Waiting for it to cure so I can begin recycling my porcelain.

I will buy this product again!

Most companies sell larger quantities. I needed only 10 pounds. That's exactly what I got. Shipping was very affordable.

The wedging table top and drying bat built w this breathtakingly economical plaster are by far the best I have ever used. The product was delivered promptly and cheerfully. I plan to buy much more from Mr. Blick!

Most ceramic supply companies will only sell whole 50 lb. bags of plaster, which is a problem if I have a small project as leftover dry plaster does not keep well. Humidity degrades plaster very rapidly, and it is difficult to keep it dry - it seems wasteful to buy a 50 lb. bag only to throw away a 40 lb. lump of bad plaster a couple months later. I was happy to see that Blick sells plaster in 10 lb. bags, but I was worried that it might not be fresh, but the plaster was absolutely dry and fluffy, no sign of having been exposed to moisture at all, and it performed perfectly for me - it hydrated to a smooth consistency, allowed enough time to pour, and set up rock hard in about an hour. 10 Lb. was a perfect amount for my project (a small mold for ceramics), so although maybe more costly per pound to buy a small amount, I had no waste. Blick's service was also excellent - I had my order within a few days. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a small amount of plaster.

I made a wedging board with it and it works really well. Very smooth and absorbent, easy to mix. My only concern was having it left on my door step during the rain but they boxes up the 50 lb bag so it was more protected. I'll buy this again.
