Great practice paper for origami
This paper is colored the same on both sides, on the thick side and doesn't hold a crease super-well. One side is also a little slippery. But it's great inexpensive large-ish origami practice paper as long as your model is relatively simple (that said, I've folded a gazillion Kawasaki roses from it and even managed a Chris Palmer flower tower with it). OTOH, Joisel's rat and Albertino's hyena were tough because the paper is thick, so hard to get the finished model to stay reasonably flat. Sadly the manufacturer discontinued this product a year ago or so and Blick is the only place I can find to get it.
Great for origami

The price of this paper is so much better at Blick than anywhere else. Perfect size.
Square Be Aware - Origami Teacher
This paper is the perfect weight for beginner to complex origami models because it is thinner than most traditional paper found in craft stores. However it des not hold its shape too well even when using crisp folds. Also the paper that I ordered in bulk for my origami class with children was not a perfect square which made it frustrating for beginners to fold and a difficult for me to teach. This paper is the closest weight to double tissue paper that can be bought in bulk for classrooms which would make me use it again despite the size problem.

I have used these papers for 2-3 years. It is a nice sized sheet for beginning origami crafters. The sheets are colorful, of lighter weight, and are easy to fold. It also works well for the experienced folder when they are trying to learn a new project and need to practice first. I recommend them if you want a large amount of paper for a cheaper price.

Paper Squares--So Many Uses!
By Debbie the Art Teacher
from Chicago, IL
I can't say enough great things about this paper to do it full justice. This paper is thin enough to be used as a block-printing paper or for origami projects. Since it comes in so many colors, printing with different colors of printing ink on a variety of colors of this square paper is an educational experiment in color theory for students of all ages. What's great, is that being square, it can be used and displayed diagonally--like a diamond-shape, also. Another great use for this paper is to mount smaller art on it either the square or diagonal way to enhance the beauty of the artwork and the display, itself. Origami is another wonderful project for this paper; when folding models that require large, thin paper, this paper is wonderful and crisp, making for ease of folding, especially for beginners. It is thin enough to be folded 2 sheets at a time, to create a duo effect of red on one side, green on the other for folding a strawberry model, or red or blue and white for folding a sailboat with white sails. As a teacher, this paper is my #1 favorite.

Nice paper, great price
from Huntington, WV
Excellent for use in teaching paper arts such as origami. Is more lightweight than regular origami paper. Great for practice and for models that don't require extensive pre-creasing/folding. I would suggest a heavier weight for those types of models. For the money, you can't beat it for practice. Recommended for beginners.
