Best little eraser around!
from Winston-Salem, NC
Comments about Maped Pencil Eraser:
This eraser is all I ever use, as the erasers found on the end of pencils can be "smudgers" and fail to completely erase the image. With this eraser the image can be completely removed and the area can be painted or redrawn over without fear of retaining any former marks.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Looking for the best eraser for graphite pencil, I ordered about 10 different erasers and tested them all side-by-side. The Maped eraser performed best.

I am a beginning student, and I do a lot of erasing! These erasers are great because they erase completely, they are easy to hold, and the edges enable you to get into small places.

I bought the eraser on a whim, but I fell in love with it.I just spent over an hour walking around a couple art stores in SF unsuccessfully trying to find one after I lost it.Great:-The shape! The triangle allows for both point erasing and broad erasing with good control and a gentle grip. The curves are also soothing and natural, like a river pebble.-The eraser. The eraser is a pretty solid eraser. It's very similar to the Staedler drafting eraser and the Japanese Pony erasers. It's firm, but it doesn't mar the paper. I like firm, as a floppy eraser is harder to control with precision.Bad:-hard to find. This might be specialized eraser or something, but it's really hard to find. They're not at most stationary stores, and I just scoured Van Ness unsuccessfully looking for some. Conclusion: It's just an eraser...but there's something about the primal combination of smooth, comforting lines and solid eraser performance that speaks to the soul.In the meanwhile, I'll keep searching for mine. :(
too hard, but nice shape

Nice eraser. The shape is much better than right angles. I think I prefer softer Factis erasers.
