Liquitex Pouring Medium creates even puddles, poured sheets, and flowing applications of color without crazing or cracking. The paint film dries without holding bubbles. It retains its high gloss and wet appearance when dry.
Pouring Medium will not add transparency when mixed with color. It is flexible, non-yellowing, and water resistant when dry.
Liquitex Pouring Medium is designed primarily to go with the Liquitex Soft Body Acrylic Colors. Mix with colors to promote drying with a smooth, evenly colored film.
Shipping Note — Due to manufacturer distribution restrictions, Liquitex products cannot be shipped to addresses outside of North America.

Love this stuff!

Comments about Liquitex Pouring Medium:
Liquitex Pouring Medium is fantastic for making poured paintings. It's milky white when you pour it out of the bottle, but dries to a crystal clear, self-leveling surface. Mix it with acrylic paint, soft acrylics, or acrylic inks and pour it over a clean, dry, primed surface, tilting and swirling it to cover whatever area you want to paint. It can produce beautiful swirling textures akin to polished marble. Dry in a dust- and lint-free environment for at least 24-48 hours. For added gloss, resilience, and washability, you can finish with an epoxy resin product. (I use ArtResin, which is great). Wonderful results!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great, but not as great as it used to be
By Cosmic Craig
I've been using PM for around ten years and it has worked well. I have even sold several of the artworks. It can be very messy. Now I use disposable gloves when I do it and put the canvas on disposable cups, which I reuse. Also I use a metal baking sheet for the paint to drip on. A while ago my artworks started to crack/craze after using it. I realize I probably poured the stuff on too thick, but before it would never crack/craze. Maybe they are not making as high quality of a product as they used to, especially since it is getting so popular and they are making so much of it. The other problem I've had is, as you have probably noticed, it's frequently out of stock, except for the small size.

I love using this pouring medium for my fluid art. Blicks is super fast to get it to you and they have really great deals!

Must have with fluid acrylic!
Great when paired with any fluid acrylic, solid value in comparison to other retailers for this volume. My only concern is that it is difficult to transfer liquid from the bucket into cups and squirt bottles because of the large lid.

I have been trying to achieve "cells" in my pour art unsuccessfully until I used this product. Worked great the first time!
I will buy this again

I've been experimenting with this product and fluid acrylic and feel I have not yet fully explored its potential. So, yes I will continue using it to find out all it will do.

Fun and great quality!

So this stuff is super expensive, and almost impossible to find in local art supply stores. I'd like to say that it goes a long way, but it's easy to use even 8oz of it with one "pour". I mixed it with Liquitex Basics and it worked great as a pouring medium. It took about 48 hours to dry completely and dried glossy and smooth, not tacky at all. I plan on using the spill over paint that dried in to really pretty, flexible sheets for paint sculptures. Without any pigment added, it dries completely transparent; I'll probably use it to "varnish" a few smaller paintings. While I wish it wasn't so expensive, I did splurge and get the gallon size, so I should be set for at least four or five medium sized paintings.

I bought this product to try my hand at acrylic pouring. It worked perfectly. It was easy to use and yielded great results on my first try! I will be buying more.
