Comments about Latex Finger Cots:
I use these finger cots when I am doing any artwork because I have psoriasis and the skin on my fingertips breaks open. These cots protect my fingers and they feel natural while I'm working.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Latex finger cotes
I always use finger coats to protect my fingertips from pastel, as they draw moisture out of the skin. I also think they work the best for blending. They can blend the pastel evenly without adding the oils from your skin, which keeps the pastel fresher-looking.My only complaint is that the size "large" isn't very large and after an hour or so my thumb starts getting badly pinched. So I wish they also had an extra-large size. One last thing is they aren't easy to find on the website. Typing in "finger cotes" does not work. I have to kind of hunt them down when I want them to order them.
Love these finger cots

I use to blend colors for my soft pastels. They work really great! The grip of the rubber is perfect, not too tight and elastic.
Product has changed!

I have ordered these before and they are not the same!! I will be sending them back . I use them for hand quilting to grip the needle. The ones you sent this time way too slippery . So disappointed .
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Easy to use

I like finger cots because they come in more than one size to fit my fingers. No hassle to put on and I don't have to deal with the sweat produced when wearing gloves. Also great for applYing many different mediums.

As a pastelist, I've used finger cots for years not only to keep my fingers clean, but to protect them from the rough surface of gritty pastel paper. I've always loved them. However, on my last 2 purchases, the manufacturer changed not only the color, but the size. I have small female hands and the large size cut the circulation off into my thumbs. If you are a child under the age of 12, or don't need to cover your thumbs, I'd recommend them. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
Merchant response: We're sorry that these finger cots didn't work out for you this time, and we're happy to take care of this for you. Please look for an email from one of our Customer Care Agents who will be reaching out to assist you.

Best protection against abrasion
By Cathy in California
from Sunnyvale, CA
I'm a pastelist working on sanded paper. I was finding blood on my paintings from abraded fingertips. I've tried other finger cots but they were too thin and just tore. They also didn't stay up. These are fantastic! They do not feel at all bulky but they take a real beating without tearing -- and they stay up. I have them in two sizes, one for my thumb and one for my fingers. They've been a life saver for my fingertips and nails and no more blood spotted paintings.

These work great for me. I like to paint with my hands but don't want the toxicity. Gloves work but are cumbersome. With these, I only put one on the fingers involved and they fit and feel like my finger. Perfecto!
Use Cots For Good Health!
By Tree Painter
from Eagle Point, Oregon
As a soft pastel painter, I use paint (sticks of pastel) frequently. Cots keep pigment off and out of my skin for optimum good health. Blick pastels save me money and shopping time. Previously, I purchased cots at the pharmacy but because the quantities are smaller, I ended up shopping more often and spending more money. I recommend getting two sizes of Blick cots to fit various finger sizes. With 144 cots in each bag, this purchase will go a long ways.

Latex Finger Cots
I use these daily while painting in soft pastels. They fit well (I use mediums) and the quality is very good..they hold up to a lot of wear and tear. I've tried others but they were too thin, too tight...these are great!
