Crafted in small batches at slow speeds in a European paper mill, Fluid watercolor papers possess the strength and working integrity of more expensive mouldmade papers.
Fluid 100 is a 100% cotton, natural white paper that is internally and externally gelatin-sized to achieve an archival standard of permanence. Choose from two weights — 140 lb (300 gsm) or 300 lb (640 gsm) — and two surfaces (hot press or cold press).
Handling Charge — When ordering sheets of paper or board larger than 18” x 24” in quantities of less than 10, a $3.00 per order handling fee applies. Paper or boards may be assorted to reach the quantity of 10.
Note — Paper may vary in size by ½" more or less.

Best watercolor paper I ever bought
from Dardanelle, AR
Comments about Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper:
Wow! I have painted with many watercolors and learned that the paper is "that important!" This paper takes water great, does not warp much, allows you to work the color, and drys nicely. If you paint in miniature, use this paper.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Will use again
I was given some Fluid 100 as a sample. I did not try it right away because I did not like the Fluid budget paper. Finally painted on my sample today and was surprised that I like it quite a bit. My paints handled beautifully on it. Very easy to lift. No, it is not like Arches. It has different properties, well worth a try. I added it to my wishlist so I remember to buy some later.

Awful watercolor paper, great for ink work?
By Karen K
from South San Francisco, CA
Wow. I've been looking for a cheap alternative to Arches for studies (so far I've loved Moleskin's watercolor sketchbooks, and cottonwood arts). Our local shop was carrying Fluid, so I decided to try it on a whim. It's absolute garbage. Don't waste your money if you're used to good watercolor paper. It puddles, doesn't like multiple washes, it bleeds. Everything you don't want out of a watercolor paper. You pay for what you get. And with watercolors, you can fudge on the paints, you can fudge on the brushes, but not the paper.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I like this paper, alot!!!!
from Butler County, Ohio
I've watercolored on both the 140lb sheet and the 140lb block. I find it just as good as Arches cold pressed. I have no negatives to report.

NICE PAPER - STILL NEED TO LEARN IT'S PROPERTIES
from Airmont NY
Am looking forward to experimenting with this paper. It's very soft and seems to take the watercolor well.

Disappointing compared to Arches 140# CP!!!!
from Chetek WI
I teach small watercolor classes in my home studio. About 9 of us attempted to use Fluid 100 as we would have used Arches 140 CP (our paper of choice). It buckled, pilled when any scrubbing was done, and we generally did not like it. Several of us will use the pack of 6 for colored pencil work but we will not waste time and paint on it again for watercolor. I discourage using anything but Arches, even for testing colors or doing demos or other student work. USE THE BEST QUALITY PRODUCT REGARDLESS!!
