This lightweight, air hardening material can be molded and shaped while it's still moist, and after it's dried hard, it can be painted with tempera, watercolor, acrylic, enamel, markers, etc. Use it to create jewelry, dolls, ornaments, miniatures, sculptures, wall hangings, and more.

A great lightweight sculpting alternative
By Tomas DellaMorte
Comments about Creative Paperclay:
An excellent sculpting material for projects requiring lighter weight materials. It takes detail pretty effectively and can be sanded or affected with finishing tools with brilliant results.

I don't use any other clay
from New Jersey USA
I had some of this clay in a container for 3 years not in the package. All I did was add water and it was ready to go. I like the fact you can use baby wipes to clean your hands. I highly recommend this product.
I've been using Creative Paperclay for years, it's an amazingly versatile clay to use for sculpture & relief work.It dries fast, easy to join pieces together & incredibly strong when dry. Love it!

Very interesting clay
from Pittsburgh, PA
I wasn't sure what I was going to get when I ordered this but I ended up really enjoying this clay. It's strange to get used to at first (it's very soft and a tad bit difficult to use at first) but the more I used it, the easier it became to sculpt with.
Creative Paperclay is a Superior Air Drying Clay
By Queen Elizabeth
from Cecilia, KY
I am a frustrated sculptor without a kiln, so cast about for a self-hardening clay substitute. I had used instant paper mache long ago, but was hopeful that the description of Creative Paperclay in the catalog was nearly as good as it was held to be. My ambitious project is progressing better than I had ever hoped! Having devised a basic form, Creative paperclay is giving me professional details that delight me, and there is little shrinkage. I plan to give a demonstration at some future meeting of the Art Guild I attend. I am so pleased with this product!

creative paperclay...amazing art supply ever.
from Decatur, GA
I teach workshops in sculpting and working on an armature without have to use a kiln like tradition clay. Helps people discover building something again...work with their hands.

Perfect for Cardboard Props
By BearsRawr Cosplay
from Seattle, WA
I used it to finish a giant cardboard snowflake for a Snowstorm Sivir costume (a video game character) at PAX West (a video game convention). I was worried about the arms of the flake breaking off, but once I added the PaperClay and sanded it to perfection, this piece was rock solid. It lasted 2 days of crowds, bumping, waving around, rain, sun, everything! This stuff is magic. You need to shape it while forming/sand to size once it dries, so don't expect it to be instantly smooth like paper mache. But it's totally paintable and looks great.

Surprisingly tough when dried.

This paper based clay gives my paper mache crafts a chance for wonderful detail. I am having so much fun with it. It air dries and can be painted.
