Createx Auto Air Additives

Aluminum Bases — Aluminum bases are available in three grades — fine, medium, and coarse. They are highly reflective and intended as an undercoat for Candy colors, and may also be used alone for an aluminum-like reflective finish. They cover quickly, and often only one coat is needed. Apply over Base Coat Sealer Dark to insure proper adhesion. They are made with heavy metallic flakes. Stirring may be required, in addition to thorough shaking.

4012 High Performance Reducer — Thin airbrush colors, increase transparency, and improve flow with waterbased Createx 4012 High Performance Reducer (also called Wicked Colors W500). Use this premium reducer with Auto Air Colors, Wicked Colors, Illustration Colors, and AutoBorne Sealers. Paints have a 72-hour pot life after they're mixed with 4012.

Transparent Base — This base may be added to colors to increase transparency. Add in small increments.

4030 Balancing Clear — This clear waterbased urethane formula is an essential mix additive that enhances spray performance and coating durability. Mix Balancing Clear with Auto-Air Colors to create an acrylic-urethane hybrid paint that performs better than traditional solvent-based paints. The hybrid has improved spray performance on non-porous, hard surfaces. 4030 dries to a flat, hard, level surface that's perfect for taping and masking. It also functions as an excellent semi-gloss, protective clear coat over base colors prior to the application of graphics. 4030 is not a reducer, as paint viscosity is not truly lowered. It can safely be combined with Createx Colors reducers. You can also use 4030 with Createx Airbrush Colors, Candy2o, Wicked Colors, and Illustration Colors.

4020 Automotive Reducer — This is a specialty thinner used in humid or cold conditions. Add it to Createx Auto-Air Colors to make them flow more easily, with minimal tip-dry. This product contains acetone and glycol ethers. Use it only in controlled spray environments with adequate ventilation and a NIOSH/MSHA-approved respirator.

Restorer — This medium removes or dissolves cured and uncured waterbased paints. It makes for easy cleanup and complete removal of Auto Air Colors for cured finishes (prior to clear) and dried paint in spray guns and airbrushes.
