Designed to increase the opacity of transparent matte airbrush colors and extend opaque airbrush colors to lighter values without affecting opacity, Createx Airbrush Opaque Base will add tremendous versatility to your work. The waterbased, colorless resin base is made with refined clay and is non-toxic. It is not for use with fluorescent and pearlescent colors. The chroma of the colors will be lowered after mixing.

Createx Airbrush Paints and Sets are the most widely used professional airbrush paints in the world. They're made with lightfast pigments, durable resins, and quality ingredients for permanent results. 

These waterbased airbrush colors are designed for textiles and most other applications, including wood, leather, ceramics, canvas, aluminum, plastic, glass, and more. They dry to a matte finish and leave fabrics soft to the touch. 

Reduce the paints with Transparent Base or High Performance Reducer for improved flow. Add 4030 Intercoat Clear to Airbrush Colors for improved spray performance and adhesion on plastic, vinyl, and application onto hard surfaces. 

Createx Airbrush Colors are non-toxic and conform to ASTM D 4236.  

Choose from Fluorescent, Iridescent, Opaque, Pearlescent, and Transparent colors. For details on each style, please see the Item Specs tab. The paints are intermixable.

__Transparent, Colors W001–W016__ – These colors spray semi-opaque out of the bottle and dry to a semi-gloss finish. 

__Fluorescent, Colors W019–W029__ – These neon colors spray transparent out of the bottle. Fluorescent colors are not lightfast. For exterior use, apply over a color-keyed Createx Colors AutoBorne Sealer base. 

__Opaque, Colors W030, W031, and W080–W089__ – Made with a durable acrylic and urethane resin, these colors cover and adhere well to difficult substrates such as plastic. 

__Pearl and Metallic, Colors W300–W313 and W350–W383__ – These colors spray semi-opaque out of the bottle. For best results over plastic, wood, hard surfaces, and automotive uses, apply over a color-keyed Createx Colors AutoBorne Sealer Base. For Aluminum and Silver airbrush colors, use over Createx Colors AutoBorne 6013 Silver Sealer.

__Detail, Colors W050–W076__ – These colors spray transparent out of the bottle and can be used with a 0.35 mm tip or larger. They dry to a matte finish that, combined with a binder size of 0.1 microns, makes them perfect for illustrators and artists seeking the ultimate control with fine lines and detailed artwork.

Createx Airbrush Transparent Base - 2 oz (59 ml)

With Createx Airbrush Transparent Base, you can extend your paint, add transparency, and create different and unique effects. When you add this base to Createx Airbrush Colors, you have paint that is more transparent but still maintains a higher viscosity. You can also use the base as a light protective coating, especially for t-shirt and fabric painting. Used as a fabric primer, it “locks down” the fabric nap, allowing for smoother application, tighter lines, and cleaner colors.

With Createx Airbrush Transparent Base, you can extend your paint, add transparency, and create different and unique effects. Paint is more transparent but still maintains a higher viscosity. You can also use it as a light protective coating for t-shirt and fabric painting or as a fabric primer.
