Easy sketchbook to draw in, lies flat
I've had this sketchbook for more than a year now. I initially bought it because it looked fancy with it's magnetic clasp. It lies completely flat which makes it much easier to draw in compared to other hardbound sketchbooks with a typical sewn binding. The magnet strip isn't terribly durable and ended up tearing off at some point, but I was able to piece it back together with masking tape. The magnet won't keep the book from opening if dropped, but will keep it closed in a backpack or bag. Also the binding itself isn't super durable either as I've had to reglue both sides back together. Super glue or any white pvc glue was fine for this. If you are rough with sketchbooks like I am be prepared to have to glue or tape it back together. There was also one sheet of paper in this book that fell out of the binding at some point. I just taped it back in where it was supposed to go. All of this may just be my carelessness with books but it's important to know just how durable something is. Overall, the drawing experience is what's best about this sketchbook as it lies perfectly flat and you don't have to struggle to hold the pages down while drawing.

My favorite sketchbook!

Great and sturdy. Good size to carry. Nice quality paper and gives you the option to draw on individual sheets or draw on two pages together. Definitely my favorite sketchbook!
Perfect for sketching on the go, with its hard cover and flat drawing surface.
Nice, awesome produdt

Well the sketchbook definitely let's you use every inch of the page. Once you get about 3/4of the way through its a little harder to get at the middle but it's still pretty good. The binding is interesting. The only thing I dislike about this procut is that the corners that are bound are very pointy. And the magnet strip broke on mine after a month.

A great pocket sketchbook
I got the smallest size and really like it for a pocket size sketchbook that I can take anywhere. It has a stiff front and back cover but the binding is cloth which allows you to easily open up any page to a full flat two page surface to sketch on. I really like that feature of it. The book also has a small strap that keeps the book closed by a magnet in the front cover. This is perfect for holding a pencil/pen so it is always ready to go. The overall form and design of it is great. My only critique is that I wish that the paper was a heavier weight. The paper is on the thin side. It works fine for pencil, or light washes using water soluble pencils. My ink brush pens don't bleed through, but dark lines are visible through the back side of the paper when you turn the page. This would be a perfect sketchbook if they made it with their 98 lb mixed media paper.

Best sketchbook ever
from Richmond, va
I love these sketchbooks. They lay perfectly flat so there is no hump to contend with. And I can sketch across 2 pages without stuff disappearing into the page fold. The spine is cloth so it won't wear out. I carry one with me all the time. I keep a pen clipped to the magnetic closer.
