Comments about Blick Artists' Acrylic Remover:
Having purchased most of these items from other sources, I find the price and convenience of Blick a good value. My only complaint is the navigation of the site. Finding a specific item can be a bit tricky e.g. Blick Master stroke brushes is particularly confusing.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I paint wood into little peg people, I was very pleased to see I can completely remove the paint from a figurine that did not turn out how I would like without losing my initial pencil designs. This is a very quick process like removing polish from fingernails. I pour some acrylic remover onto a paper towel and wipe the paint off my figurine. To remove just certain parts of a painted design, use q-tip soaked in remover. Remaining paint (left behind on purpose) may seem tacky but dries back to its normal hard finish in about 5 minutes. There is a lot of prep work in preparing the wood (sanding, etc) and creating the designs so it makes me happy to know I can finish everything I start to my satisfaction.

worthwhile to salvage hardened brushes
from Tulsa, OK
I have not tried other alternatives, but this product works very well. I use synthetic brushes and was happy with the result. For badly coated brushes, several soaking and wiping cycles are needed. This bottle paid for itself after using just 10% of it. Definitely use in a ventilated area away from children and animals, preferably outdoors. Have plenty of old rags handy to wipe off paint residue.

It does the job, dissolving dried acrylics. Use with a little ventilation and try not to get it on your skin.
