This is a great value for newsprint. I have used it with my elementary art students for a variety of art projects. I continue to order this paper in multiple sizes.

Great Stuff for Watts Atelier and Proko
from Bedford, NH
I use the 16 x 24 paper for drawing the the Conte 1710B. Great stuff, it is so smooth, even smoother than some of the Pro Art pads I bought. Great stuff, worth the buy.
I would and will be buying again...

This newsprint does its job perfectly, It's used for students to sketch out ideas and/or do rough drafts all at a great price.

I haven't purchased any other newsprint paper to compare this to, but I think this is a great option! The price is great and quality seems to be just as it should be! #sweepstakes
Precisely What I Ordered
By Artful Roger

My order arrived well before the projected delivery date, was packaged well and maintained its quality without any damage from shipping.
I bought it for gesture drawing and mind mapping
I bought it for gesture drawing and mind mapping. It is disposable so I would'nt use it for finished artwork. I bought it with the sketching pad board and use the paper for live sketching. I will buy again but will go for the bigger size.

This paper is perfect for lots of different things. I have students use it help sketch out ideas or techniques with drawing tools plus it's great to use as paper to lay under artwork. This is an indispensable tool in my classroom.

This paper is a disposable, smooth surface paper suitable for drawing things not to be saved using soft pencil or markers. It is not a quality fine art paper. That said, it is useful in some unusual ways. I will be making cartridges for 18th century reenactors to use at battles. The paper is easily cut and torn, a requirement for the measured, rolled paper tubes needed to keep gunpowder in. The paper must be easily torn and decay readily in nature. This stuff is perfect for that purpose. At the next engagement of the Huntington Militia, their cartridges will be made of this paper.
I use this newsprint for quick figure drawings and like it very much. Great price too! Would buy again.
Smooth and good value
I use this paper for gesture drawings, most recently with the Conte á Paris pencils recommended by Stan Prokopenko (who also recommends smooth, not rough, newsprint). Its smooth surface makes it easy to erase marks. It is not, of course, archival, so don't use this for any drawings you want to last. I like that it's loose rather than in a pad. I just grab a stack of however many I'll want for a drawing session.
