Awagami Chiri Paper

Although the literal translation of Chiri is "rubbish," this paper is recognized as one of the essential papers in Japanese art for its tonal quality and varied textures.

Acid-free and machine-made from sulphite pulp, Chiri contains dark kozo specks scattered across a natural-colored background. It's excellent for letterpress, digital printing, silkscreening, sumi-e and decorative uses.

Chiri is 40 gsm with two deckle edges.

Handling Charge — When ordering sheets of paper or board larger than 18” x 24” in quantities of less than 10, a $3.00 per order handling fee applies. Paper or boards may be assorted to reach the quantity of 10.
