Enkaustikos Microcrystalline Wax - 12 oz bag

This wax is more flexible than paraffin, with a melting point of 170°–180° F (77°–82° C). Use it to build layers and add dimension to encaustic paintings. Because Microcrystalline Wax yellows over time, use it in an under layer. Proper ventilation should be observed due to the vapors released from the petroleum-based Microcrystalline Wax.
